Leonardo Wins $423M To Supply Four AW101 Multirole Helicopters To Poland
Polish Ministry of Defense has awarded Leonardo $423 million (€ 380 million or PLN 1.65 ) for four AW101 maritime multirole helicopters.
Four AW101s and a comprehensive integrated logistics and training package to be supplied with PZL-Świdnik acting as prime contractor, the company said in a statement Friday.
The relevant support package follows the Offset Agreement, valued at approximately $100 million (€90 million or PLN 400 million) recently announced.
Thechoppers will perform anti-submarine warfare and combat, search and rescue missions.
Deliveries are scheduled to be completed by 2022.
