L-3 Communications To Support US Navy’s T-45 Trainers

L-3 Communications Vertex Aerospace has won a $180.4 million modification contract to support United States Navy’s T-45 land-based training jet aircraft.

This modification exercises an option for organizational, intermediate, and depot level maintenance, logistics, and engineering support for Navy T-45 aircraft, aircraft systems, and related support equipment, the Pentagon announced on Thursday.

Support to be provided includes services, equipment, tools, direct material and indirect material required for flight and test and evaluation operations.

Work is expected to be completed in September 2020.
