Only 2 Syrian Pantsir Systems Damaged, None Destroyed in Turkish Attacks: Russian MoD

Russia has denied Ankara's claims that 8 Syrian Pantsir air defence systems (ADS) were destroyed in Turkish Army's drone attacks in Idlib province last week.

It however confirmed that two Pantsir ADS were "damaged" and would be "repaired" indicating that the damage to them  may not be severe.

"As a result of mass attack by Turkish combat unmanned aerial vehicles, two Syrian Pantsyr air defense missile/gun systems were damaged. Repair works are nearing completion," the ministry said in a statement Tuesday.

The ministry called Turkish claims "untrue" and an "exaggeration."
