Five more Navy sailors from South Korea’s Gojunbong amphibious landing ship have been infected with the deadly coronavirus.

In April, 33 out of 84 crew members and sailors working on the vessel had tested positive. Five of those who earlier tested negative for the COVID-19 virus were found to have contracted it in a test required to exit quarantine.

According to Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA), the total number of people infected with the virus stands at 126,044 as of Friday.

Last year, sailors onboard several U.S. warships were infected with the novel coronavirus.
