Russia’s Technodinamika, a subsidiary of state-owned Rostec said it has completed development of the world’s first man-dog parachute system.

Trials of this system are scheduled to get over this year. Delivery to the Russian armed forces will begin next year, the company told TASS News Agency.

The man-dog parachute system is meant to drop a dogtrooper weighing up to 45kg along with its handler from an altitude of up to 4,000m. Tests have demonstrated that specially trained dogs feel well after the landing and are ready to follow commands.
