Amidst fears that the Ukraine war is fast depleting Russian supply of tanks, artillery, helicopters and others, President Putin yesterday visited the Tula factory where military equipment such as Pantsir-S1, ATGM Kornet-EM and BMP-2 armored vehicles are being assembled.
"President Vladimir Putin paid a working visit to Tula today and got acquainted with the work of the Shcheglovsky Val machine-building plant, of the State Corporation Rostec," an official statement said.
Accompanied by Governor of the region Alexei Dyumin and General Director of Shcheglovsky Val Alexei Visloguzov, Vladimir Putin examined samples of shells, mines and missiles for various types of weapons, and also assessed the progress of work in the production workshops of the enterprise, where military equipment is being assembled, a Rostec statement said.
“The most important, key task of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex is to provide our units, advanced units with all the necessary weapons, equipment, ammunition and equipment, and in the required volume and quality, in a short time, ” RIA Novosti quotes Putin as saying.

Ukrainian Ministry of Defense Claims Russia has lost hundreds of tanks, armored vehicles, artillery guns, helicopters and other equipment since the ar began 10 months ago. In recent weeks Russia has slowed down its land advance and is instead relying on long range missile attacks.
Ukraine MoD says that it has put to use Russian equipment captured during hostilities.
