U.A.E. Armed Forces Order EDGE’s Upgraded Al Tariq-LR Precision-Guided Munitions
EDGE Group entity, HALCON, has secured a contract worth AED 1 billion with the U.A.E. Armed Forces to supply AL TARIQ-LR (long-range) precision-guided munitions (PGMs).
The relevant contract was signed at the ongoing IDEX 2023 exhibition in Abu Dhabi.
The new contract will enhance the U.A.E. Armed Forces air strike capabilities through increasing standoff ranges with advanced AL TARIQ-LR PGMs. Additional features from a recent Block II upgrade will also be included.
