United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) of Russia will launch a high visibility campaign to bring focus on its MiG-35 aircraft, considered a successor to the legendary MiG-29.
A relatively ‘light’ fighter compared to heavy jets such as the Sukhoi range, the MiG-35 competes with the likes of F-16, the Dassault Rafale and other 4 + generation fighter jets. It is lighter, faster and can carry more weapons than the MiG-29.
“The main event of this year will be the demonstration of the MiG-35 in the immediate vicinity of the main entrance to the exhibition pavilions,” UAC said in a statement.
The UAC demo center will present a multimedia exposition and a line of combat, transport, strategic and special aviation aircraft manufactured by the corporation's enterprises in the form of Su-34, Su-35, Su-57, Su-30SM, Yak-130, Yak-152, Il- 78MK-90A, Il-76MD-90A, Il-112V, Tu-160, Tu-22M3, Tu-95MS, MiG-31, MiG-35, MiG-29K and Be-200.
At the Kubinka airfield, a part of the model range of aircraft serially produced and modernized by UAC enterprises, including the Yak-130 aircraft in the new corporate livery of UAC Yakovlev, will be presented as part of a static exposition.
