Aerojet Rocketdyne, a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) have  entered into a multi-year agreement aimed at bolstering the production of solid rocket motors for national defense programs.

The ten-year agreement establishes a public-private partnership with the U.S. Navy to address the escalating demand for solid rocket motors required for urgent national security needs. This partnership allows NSWC Indian Head to become a qualified partner with Aerojet Rocketdyne, enabling them to undertake specific motor manufacturing processes.
