Swedish Armed Forces to Procure fine Calibre Ammunition from Nammo, Norma
The total value of the contracts is approximately SEK 2.8 billion
The Swedish Defense Materiel Administration, FMV, has signed a contract with Nammo Sweden AB and Norma Precision AB to procure fine caliber ammunition.
This means that deliveries of fine caliber ammunition are secured for the needs of the Armed Forces during the years 2024–2025.The contracts contain requirements for security of supply during all levels of preparedness.
“In our endeavor to create long-term conditions, the contracts with the two suppliers also contain options that can enable deliveries until 2030,” says Carl-Axel Blomdahl, head of the department weapons and protection, at FMV.
