Saudi Arabia Planning Néw Regional Airline Using Embraer Aircraft

Saudi Arabia’s National Industrial Development Center (NIDC), AHQ Group and Embraer today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to discuss a joint strategy to develop the local aerospace ecosystem.

As part of the MoU, AHQ Group and Embraer will explore a new regional airline using the E2 family of medium-haul aircraft.

The signing ceremony was held in Riyadh, as part of the Future Aviation Forum.

Saudi Arabia’s National Industrial Development Center (NIDC), AHQ Group, and Embraer signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop the local aerospace ecosystem at the Future Aviation Forum in Riyadh.

The agreement focuses on Saudi Arabia adopting Embraer aircraft and fostering technology, supply chain, and human capital development to enhance products and services.

As part of the agreement, Embraer and AHQ will explore the E2 family's potential for a new regional airline project.
