Diehl Defence and Nammo, under their industrial working group ARGE DiNa 155mm, received an order from the German Armed Forces for 155mm artillery projectiles.
The framework agreement, signed by Diehl Defence CEO Helmut Rauch and Nammo Executive Vice President Vegard Sande, alongside Annette Lehnigk-Emden, President of the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) on July 9, aims to ensure the supply of 155mm artillery ammunition for the German Armed Forces and their allies over the long term.
The agreement includes an order retrieval for 155mm artillery projectiles, facilitating the expansion of a national production line.
Diehl Defence has been enhancing national production capacities since the initial framework agreement, particularly in explosives production through collaborations with Chemring Nobel AS and Dynamit Nobel Defence, ensuring reliable and timely delivery capabilities.
