Indonesia Signs Several Defense Cooperation Agreements with Turkey
A high-level Turkish defense delegation, led by defence minister Prof. Haluk Görgün, visited Jakarta to finalize defense agreements with Indonesia.
 
During the visit,  agreements were signed with Indonesia’s President-elect and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto.
 
The deals  includes collaborations on ASELSAN’s SARP Remote Controlled Stabilized Weapon System, CENK 4D Search Radar, Artillery Fire Control System, and Missile Data Link, as well as ROKETSAN’s SUNGUR Air Defense Missile System, ÇAKIR Cruise Missile, and MAM-L Mini Smart Munition.

Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were also signed for unmanned surface vehicles, tank modernization, and missile system maintenance.
 
Defense Industry President Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün stated, "Today is historic with Indonesia's President-elect and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto joining us. This highlights the strong ties between Turkey and Indonesia, as we finalize key defense agreements.The Turkish defense industry's global reputation for innovation is set to enhance our cooperation with Indonesia, positively impacting both regional and global security." He emphasized that this partnership will continue to grow.
 
This follows Indonesia's recent acquisition of Turkish defense products, including the KHAN Ballistic Missile and ANKA SİHA, further expanding its investment in Turkish technology.
