Ukrainian authorities have launched a new reward scheme that gives drone operators points for killing Russian soldiers and destroying military equipment, according to Digital Development Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
Speaking to local media, Fedorov said the system is designed to boost frontline engagement by using a points-based model similar to online games. Operatives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will earn varying points depending on the target's value. "The cheapest thing is killing a soldier—6 points. Damaging a tank gives 20 points, destroying it—40, and a mobile missile launcher—up to 50 points," he explained.
The scheme is tied to Brave1 Market, an online platform created for military personnel. Operators can use their earned points to buy items like drones, electronic warfare systems, and other battlefield equipment. One example cited by Fedorov is the "Baba Yaga" drone, priced at 43 points.
Brave1 Market, described as Ukraine’s military version of Amazon, allows soldiers to order combat gear directly. “The platform aims to ensure that soldiers get what they need on the battlefield quickly and efficiently,” Fedorov said.
To claim points, drone operators must upload video proof of their strikes to the Delta communications and situational awareness system. Once verified, points are credited to their account for use in the online store.
