Poland signs Chunmoo missile contract with Hanwha Aerospace

Hanwha Aerospace has signed a contract with the Polish Armament Agency for the supply of Chunmoo CGR-080 guided missiles.

The contract was signed on December 29 at the Polish Army Museum in Warsaw.

Under the agreement, the guided missiles will be manufactured at a dedicated production facility in Poland operated by Hanwha-WB Advanced System.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2030.

According to the company, the agreement represents the third executive contract under the Homar-K framework and was concluded between the Polish Armament Agency and a consortium led by Hanwha-WB Advanced System, a joint venture established by Hanwha Aerospace and Poland’s WB Electronics.

The CGR-080, a 239mm precision-guided missile with an 80-kilometre range and a 15-metre CEP, will serve as the core munition for Poland’s Homar-K system.
