QinetiQ wins a support contract for communications, logistic services from Marine Corps

Under four recently awarded task orders, QinetiQ North America’s Systems Engineering Group will continue to provide the Marine Corps Systems Command’s Communications, Intelligence and Networking Systems (CINS) Product Group (PG) with a broad range of life-cycle support services, including engineering, logistics, acquisition and IT support. The CINS PG is the central agent for the research, development, acquisition and life-cycle management of communications, intelligence, surveillance and networking systems throughout the Marine Corps, for both the Operating Forces and the Supporting Establishment. QinetiQ North America will provide the Program Manager (PM) Networking and Satellite Communications (NSC) with acquisition, engineering, financial, and logistics support. PM NSC leads the Marine Corps’ effort in the research, development, acquisition and sustainment of networking and satellite communications equipment. The company will provide a similar range of support services to the PM Tactical Communications Systems (TCS. PM TCS) leads the Marine Corps’ effort in the research, development, acquisition and sustainment of tactical radios and equipment. QinetiQ North America will provide the Product Group Director (PGD) of CINS, the CINS Operations Manager, and the CINS Milestone Assessment and Technical Support teams with systems engineering, acquisition, financial, logistics and administrative management support. The company will provide systems acquisition support to the PM USMC Counter Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) Electronic Warfare (CREW) Systems. The USMC CREW program is responsible for the procurement, fielding and sustainment of all CREW systems used by the Marine Corps. “We have been a primary engineering and scientific support services provider to the CINS PG since 2004.
