Lockheed Martin Wins $107M for engineering services from US DoD

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $107,992,068 cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-11-C-6294) to exercise options for Acoustic Rapid Commercial-Off-The-Shelf Insertion (A-RCI) engineering services. A-RCI is a sonar system that integrates and improves towed array, hull array, sphere array, and other ship sensor processing. This contract will be incrementally funded with $1,986,580 obligated at the time of award. Work will be performed in Clearwater, Fla. (60 percent), and Manassas, Va. (40 percent), and is expected to be completed by December 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
