CGI Group To Provide It Services To Entire U.S Military

CGI Group Inc has won a $871 million contract from the U.S Defense Information Systems Agency to provide engineering, scientific, testing and logistics services to virtually all sectors of the military. DISA’s responsibilities include the supply information technology services of all kinds to the whole U.S. military establishment. A DISA statement said CGI will deliver a range of technology and business services, “including all support aspects for the agency’s executive office, operation and maintenance of test tools, labs, networks, infrastructure and administrative units”. Earlier this month, CGI Federal won a $143 million U.S. contract to cover core functions of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, with two one-year renewal options. The support will include training operations, management information and surveillance, integration, data analysis and modelling.
