Kratos Wins $11.7 Million US Ballistic Missile Programme Support Contract

Kratos has won a contract for the continuing production of electronic hardware for a critical US Ballistic Missile programme.

Under the $11.7 million contract, Kratos Electronic Products division will provide electronic products and hardware used for tracking, flight safety and multi-stage flight test instrumentation.

Kratos Electronic Products division president Richard Poirier said: "Kratos Electronic Products division is currently under contract and making significant investments in next-generation electronic warfare, jamming, missile and radar programmes, and we are positioning our business for important future contributions from these critical national security priority areas.

In December 2011, Kratos's Herley Industries subsidiary received $11.5m contract from a major prime contractor for the continuing production of electronic hardware for a critical US ballistic missile programme.
