Su-57E Debut at MAKS air show 2019

Defenseworld.net has profiled “Su-57E,” the export version of Russia’s stealth fighter “Su-57,” unveiled at MAKS-2019 air show, Moscow.

The aircraft is positioning itself as a lower cost alternative to the US-made F-35. Its manufacturers claim it to have the features of both the F-35 and the F-22 built for air dominance; Hence the number "57" was derived, by adding up 35 and 22!

The Su-57E will be the only true competition to the F-35 when it hits the world market towards the end of 2019.
