Military aircraft sales prospects at Dubai AirShow

The United States’ presence at the Dubai Air Show with two of its front-line jets- the F-22 and F-35- has set off speculation of an imminent buy of these stealth fighters by the fat cats of the Middle East- UAE or Saudi Arabia.

However the US has clarified that it has no plans of selling UAE its stealth jets.

Saudi Arabia may be a candidate for the F-35 at least, when it starts looking for replacements for its F-15.

Russia too has jumped into the Middle East market, with offerings of its Su-57, the Yak-130 combat trainer and the MiG-35.
