BEL Pays $6.7 Million Interim Dividend To Indian Government

India’s state-owned Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has paid 25% Interim Dividend of INR.45 crores  ($6.7 million) to the Government of India for the year 2015-16.

S K Sharma, CMD, BEL, presented the Interim Dividend (payable on the shares held by the President of India and Government nominees) cheque to the Defence Minister, Manohar Parrikar, at New Delhi on March 4, 2016.

This is the 12th consecutive year that BEL is paying Interim Dividend. The Company had paid 292% Dividend in the year 2014-15 (60% Interim Dividend in February, 2015, and 232% Final Dividend in October, 2015).
