Poland’s Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ S.A.), PGZ Stocznia Wojenna (PGZ S.W.) and France’s Naval Group signed an Industrial Cooperation Agreement (ICA) on Sept. 3 focused on naval manufacturing.
The agreement covers cooperation in submarine production and the construction of specialized vessels. It strengthens industrial ties between the Polish and French defense sectors and lays the groundwork for integrating Poland’s shipbuilding industry into Naval Group’s global supply chain.
The signing follows the Treaty on “Enhanced Cooperation and Friendship” inked on 9 May 2025 by France and Poland, which outlined closer collaboration in defense and maritime technologies.
By formalizing this ICA, the companies aim to expand joint capabilities, enhance shipbuilding expertise, and reinforce long-term cooperation in European defense production.
