CGI Wins $92 Million US Army Contracts for Aviation

CGI has won US Army multiple contracts worth $92.5 million to provide software development and acquisition process services for the Multiple Launch Rocket SystemPrecision Guided Munitions program in support of AMCOM’s precision fires rocket and missile systems project office.

The company said Wednesday it will provide support services for four initiatives of the US Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM).

CGI will also deliver production, research and development and modernization services for the military branch’s fleet of UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.

CGI will also provide assistance to the command’s logistics center as part of the Reliability Improvement through Failure Identification and Reporting process that seeks to detect and monitor root causes of equipment failure and identify candidates for corrective measures.

The command’s technical data management division would require CGI to provide standardization, configuration, status accounting and information management services for warfighters and weapon systems.

Each of the contracts could run for up to five years if AMCOM exercises all options.

AMCOM works to provide logistics, engineering and contracting support to at least 90 aviation and missile systems within the service branch.
