Leidos Wins $21M to Support Mi-17, PC-12 Aircraft which Supported Afghan Forces

The U.S. Army awarded Leidos Inc. $21 million for contractor logistics support for Mi-17 and PC-12 aircraft previously supporting Afghanistan forces in over-the-horizon location, United Arab Emirates.

This is modification to a contract first awarded to the company on August 24, 2017. According to a U.S. DoD statement published after the initial award, Leidos won $728 million to provide support for the Afghan Air Force (AAF) and Special Mission Wing (SMW) helicopter/fixed-wing fleets.

Work for today’s contract will be performed in United Arab Emirates, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 31, 2022.
