Saab to Provide AI-based Threat ID Solutions to U.S. Navy, Marines

Saab has won a $13 million contract for the Threat and Situational Understanding with Networked-Online Machine Intelligence.

This contract provides for advancing of both automatic target recognition and autonomous sensor resource management research and development with broad military utility, and prototype counter-unmanned aircraft system (UAS) concepts for surface vehicle protection and airport security.

Work is expected to be completed by Dec. 29, 2026.
