EDGE Group entity Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) has announced the integration of several HT-100 multi-role unmanned performance helicopters into vessels participating in one of its key export programs.

The unmanned helicopters are manufactured by Switzerland-based ANAVIA, in which EDGE recently acquired a majority 52% shareholding. ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical take-off & landing (VTOL) systems weighing up to 750 kilograms, along with their associated capabilities.

Mansour AlMulla, Managing Director & CEO of EDGE Group, expressed enthusiasm about the recent developments, stating, "In just over a week since we announced the acquisition of a majority shareholding in ANAVIA, we have now received the first significant international order for the HT-100. This underscores the confidence being placed in EDGE and its partners for the development and delivery of sophisticated cross-complementary autonomous air, sea, and land solutions."

The HT-100, suitable for various mission profiles such as surveillance, reconnaissance, inspection, mapping, and cargo transport, boasts a remarkable flight endurance of up to six hours at a speed of 120 km/h, with a data link range extending up to 200 km.
