EDGE to Incorporate Advanced Payloads, Sensors into Turkish Aerospace Products

The U.A.E.’s EDGE Group and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a focus on integrating EDGE's advanced payloads and sensors into TAI's products, emphasizing intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR).

According to an official statement by EDGE, the collaboration aims to incorporate EDGE’s advanced payloads and sensors into Turkish Aerospace’s products, particularly focusing on ISTAR. The agreement also opens avenues for potential technology transfer, integration, and manufacturing.

Khaled Al Zaabi, President of Platforms & Systems at EDGE Group, emphasized the significance of the collaboration, stating, "Our agreement to collaborate with Turkish Aerospace as the partner for advanced airborne projects strengthens our continued cooperation with Turkey’s defense industry ecosystem."
