The High-Precision Systems holding of the Rostec State Corporation shipped a new batch of military equipment to the Russian Army.
The troops received BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles with full sets of multi-component additional protection.
The new batch of infantry fighting vehicles are equipped with anti-cumulative grids, armor screens, and upper hemisphere protection kits. Each BMP also received a "cape" - to reduce visibility made of synthetic heat-insulating and radio-absorbing material.
In addition, the new BMP-3s are equipped with electronic warfare (EW) systems.
"The BMP-3 has proven itself in the SVO zone both as an infantry fighting vehicle and as a light tank.In particular, its high mobility and cross-country ability are noted, which is important on difficult soils and off-road, as well as a powerful 100-mm gun, which allows hitting any targets on the battlefield.
With a full set of additional protection, the BMP-3 retains its high mobility, while its survivability increases several times. Combat experience shows that the upgraded "troika" is a modern universal machine with high efficiency," said Bekkhan Ozdoyev, a member of the bureau of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia, industrial director of the arms cluster of the Rostec State Corporporation.
