Hanwha Aerospace and WB Group have signed an agreement to establish a Polish–Korean joint venture that will localize production of CGR-080 guided missiles for the Homar-K multiple launch rocket system operated by the Polish Armed Forces.

The agreement was signed during the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce.

The new venture will follow a phased technology transfer program, supported by certified quality standards and structured training. Serial production is set to expand gradually, reaching full capacity by the end of 2028.

The facility in Poland will employ around 250 workers and will also design future rocket types. Production will comply with Polish defense procurement rules and Republic of Korea export controls.

Piotr Wojciechowski, President of WB Group, said, “This missile plant is a first-of-its-kind investment in Poland with the primary objective to enhance national security by ensuring domestic production of critical munitions, while also developing new guided rockets to meet evolving defense requirements.”
